Obituary for A.B. Beatty
A.B. Beatty, 66, of Parker Road, Casar, passed away on Monday, May 22, 2023 at his home.
Born in Cleveland County, on September 30, 1956, he was a son of the late Lawrence Junior Beatty and Thelma Irene Adams Beatty. He was a retired fixer in the textile industry and was a member of Pisgah Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, James "Jamie" Beatty.
Survivors include his wife of thirty-one years; Janie Pruett Beatty; three daughters, Janice Greer and husband, Scott of Shelby, Crystal Worley and husband, Kenneth of Belmont and Mandy Potts and husband, Jason of Aynor, SC; a brother, Alonzo Beatty of Casar; two sisters, Jean Roth of Gaffney, SC and Barbara Vick of Virginia and ten grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 24, 2023 from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm at Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home.
The funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 25, 2023 at 2:00 pm at Pisgah Baptist Church with the Rev. James Wedgeworth officiating.
The burial will follow the service in the church cemetery.
