Obituary for Benny Lavon Rhoney
Benny Lavon Rhoney, 78, of Hickory, passed away on Sunday, February 12, 2023 at Trinity Ridge, Hickory.
Born in Cleveland County on September 11, 1944, he was a son of the late Pearlie Edward Rhoney and Inez Wright Rhoney. He was retired from Century Furniture and was a member of Ebenezer United Methodist Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brother, Arnold Rhoney.
Survivors include son, Tim Rhoney and wife Dana of Claremont; two daughters, Tracy Cline and husband Jimmy of Newton and Crystal Rhoney of Valdese; sister, Mary Ellen Bridges of Hickory; four grandchildren, Amanda Rogers, Dawn Warren, Aaron Rhoney and Samantha Rhoney and three great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, February 16, 2023 from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm at Fairview Baptist Church,
The funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 16th, 2023 at 3:00 pm at Fairview Baptist Church with the Pastor Dwayne Pearson officiating.
The burial will follow the service in the Ebenezer United Methodist Church Cemetery.
