Billie Douglas Gambill, 68, of Vale, passed away on Tuesday, June 14, 2022 at Catawba Valley Medical Center.
Born in Albany, Georgia on July 29, 1953, he was a son of the late Billie Eugene Gambill and Estelle Money Gambill. He was employed by Dickinson Hauling and Grading and was a member of Elkin Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife of one year, Angela Lingerfelt Gambill; two stepdaughters, Caitlin Kelley and husband Mike of Stoney Point and Taylor Grant and husband Ben of Cherryville; brother, Tommy Gambill of Thurman; sister, Jody Hudspeth of Thurman; two step brothers, Johnny Hunter of Elkin and David Hunter of Clayton and two step sisters, Ann Hodge of Greenville, SC and Karen Frank of Wake Forest.
