Obituary for Billie Towery
Billie Towery, 78, of 3479 Ishmael Beam Road, Cherryville, passed away on Monday, October 26, 2020 at Novant Health - Forsyth Medical Center, Winston-Salem .
Born in Cleveland County, on November 18, 1941, he was the son of the late Plato Towery and Minnie Taylor Towery. He was retired from Travis Knit and was a member of Charity Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a son, Brian Towery; a brother and two sisters.
Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Margaret Ann Walker Towery; a son, Michael Towery of Lincoln County; a daughter, Deborah Towery of Shelby; 3 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; a brother, Richard Towery of Hildebran and a sister, Shirley Beam of Cherryville.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 29, 2020 at 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home.
The Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, October 29, 2020 at 4:00 PM at Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home with the Rev. Kyeth Lindsay officiating.
Due to the COVID-19 restrictions, masks and social distancing will be required.
