Obituary for Clara Parker Pizzoli

Clara Lee Parker Pizzoli, 100, of Vale passed away on Monday, September 19, 2022 at Carolina Care Health & Rehabilitation Center, Cherryville.

Born in Lincoln County, on April 13, 1922, she was a daughter of the late Z.C. Parker and Metta Kiser Parker. She sold Jim Walter homes for many years and retired there. She was an outstanding top salesperson and took honors during the time she was there. She loved to travel and did so most of her life. She lived in Cherryville, NC, Wyoming, Colorado, Tampa Bay, FL, Africa, Orlando, FL, Charlotte and finally Vale, NC.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Victor Pizzoli; son, Hubert Clarence Timmons; three brothers, Farrell Parker, Ford Parker and Clyde Parker; four sisters, Elva Hull, Eva Miller, Letha Bradshaw and Mable Kistler and three nephews, Randy Parker, Bobby Bradshaw and Nathan Parker.

Clara is survived by her two sisters, Guynell Parker Bingham of Vale and Christine Parker Greene of Cary and several nephews and nieces, Joseph Carl Greene and wife Kim of Vale, Shannon Carroll Bingham of Vale, Wesley Parker of Ft. Myers, FL, Ford Reid Parker and wife Tammy of Vale, Jeff Parker and wife Angela of Huntersville, NC, Victoria Parker Taylor of Ft. Myers, FL, Cindy Paxton and husband Richard of San Diego, CA, Phyllis Hull Moore of Denver, NC, Lisa Greene Wells of Atlanta, GA, Jane Parker of Huntersville, NC and Susan Sherrill and husband Bill of Drexel, NC.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 3, 2022 at 11:00AM at Hebron United Methodist Church with Pastor Steve Houser and Mr. Chuck Parlier officiating.
