Obituary for C.B. Crotts

Clarence "C.B." Benjamin Crotts, Jr., 92 of Iron Station, graduated to his heavenly home on Wednesday, March 2, 2022.

He was born April 28, 1929, the oldest of ten children to the late Clarence B. Crotts, Sr. and Ethel Leatherman Crotts. Mr. Crotts retired from Duke Power Company after 32 years of service, last stationed at the Catawba Nuclear Station.

Mr. Crotts was preceded in death by his wife of nearly 49 years, Dorothy Pruett Crotts, infant son, Darrell Dewayne Crotts and sister, Elma Jean Crotts Hoyle.

He is survived by his son, Gary Crotts and wife, Pam of Dallas; daughter, Regina Dellinger and husband, Reggie of Denver; granddaughter, Lori Ware and husband, Kelly of Kings Mountain; granddaughter, Jennifer Cutter of Denver; grandsons, Justin and Jeremy Dellinger of Denver; great-granddaughters, Emma and Mary Claire Ware of Kings Mountain; great granddaughter and grandson, Maddie and Ben Cutter of Denver; brothers, Robert Crotts of Lincolnton, Gene Crotts of Casar, Rev. Johnny Crotts, Paul Crotts and Ray Crotts all of Shelby; sisters, Edna Alexander, Polly Lail and Freida Valcore all of Shelby.

A Graveside Service will be held on Sunday, March 6, 2022 at 2:00 pm at Zoar Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Johnny Crotts officiating.

The family would like to express their gratitude to the caring staff of Peak Resources of Cherryville.
