Obituary for David Raborn
Shelby - On Sunday, March 7, 2021, David Raborn, a loving husband, father, and grandfather, went home to be with the Lord.
On June 4, 2000, he married Deborah Schultz and became a father in every way that matters to her three children: Kelly, John, and Brittany. He taught them the joys of staying up all night playing video games and that heckling is the best form of love. He adored fishing and hunting, and he learned before you go on an all-night fishing tournament, you better tell your wife how long you’ll be gone. He was a dedicated and hard-working man who, even when his health prevented him from working a regular job, worked harder in and around the house to do his part. Most importantly, he gave his heart and soul to Jesus Christ.
He is preceded by his parents James and Mary Raborn. He is survived by his wife Deborah (the best caretaker David could have ever had), his children Kelly, John, and Brittany who worked diligently and bravely in those final days.. And their spouses Mike, Krista, and Joshua, and all their children David, Christine, Thomas, Kaylei, AJ, Allie, Jeremiah, and Gabriel, his siblings Joey, Randy, Dwayne, Jimmy, Wanda, and Lori, and countless other family.
He is greatly loved and missed.
