Obituary for David Ross
David Sherman Ross, 58, of Shelby passed away on Saturday, May 20h, 2023 at Accordius Health at Gastonia.
Born in Cleveland County, on February 23, 1965, he was the son Mary Elizabeth Stringfellow Prater of Shelby and her husband the late Clayton Praytor and the late Donald Lee Ross and his wife and other mother Sue Ross of Shelby. He was previously employed with Cleveland Vocational Industries.
In addition to his mother he is survived by three sisters, Patty Edmonson and husband Rob, Darla Wyatt and husband Stan both of Shelby and Lisl Wright of Polkville; a brother, Jason Elliott and Keisha of Rutherford County; a special niece Sherra Mowery and numerous other loving nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Friday at 6:00 PM at Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home.
The family will receive friend immediately following the service.
