Obituary for Debra Tallent Wright
Debra Tallent Wright, 66, of Vale, passed away on Saturday, September 2, 2023 at Hospice at Wendover, Shelby.
Born in Cleveland County, on August 24, 1957, she was a daughter of the late Leonard Miller Tallent and Mary Evelyn Swink Tallent. She was a homemaker and loved her family dearly.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by a grandson, Beau Treadway.
She is survived by two daughters, Kasey Wright and fiancé Hunter Treadway and Kayla Wright all of Vale; a brother Ray Tallent of Connelly Springs; three sisters, Becky Tallent of Connelly Springs, Donna Godfrey of Morganton, and Penny Towery of Connelly Springs; a special nephew, Jessie Walker and wife Lindsay and their children, Mason, Dallas and Corbin and numerous other loving nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, September 5, 2023, from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm, at Mt. Vernon Baptist Church. At other times the family will be at the home of Penny Towery, 8177 Ramsey Road, Connelly Springs, NC 28612.
The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 5, 2023 at 3:00 pm at Mt. Vernon Baptist Church with the Rev. Jeremy Mahaffey officiating.
The burial will follow the service in the church cemetery.
