Obituary for Dianne G. Travis
Dianne Goodin Travis, 76, of Shelby, passed away on Wednesday, August 3, 2022 at home.
Born in Catawba County on February 2, 1946, she was a daughter of the late Foy Tatum Goodin and Elizabeth Dellinger Goodin. She was retired from First Baptist Church in Shelby and was a member of Eastside Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Christina Goodin Dorsey.
Survivors include her husband of 52 years, Gary Eugene Travis and one son, Benjamin Travis and fiancee Charlie Miller.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, August 20, 2022 from 10:30 am to 11:00 am at Eastside Baptist Church.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday on August 20th at 11:00 am at Eastside Baptist Church with the Rev. Dale Byrd officiating.
