Donald "Donnie" Edward Allen, 63, of Shelby, passed away on Sunday, December 11, 2022 at Hospice at Wendover, Shelby.
Born in Cleveland County, on April 19, 1959, he was a son of the late Aaron Allen and Frances Wells. He was employed as an electrician..
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by a brother David Allen.
He is survived by his step-mom, Fuchia A. Putnam and husband Roy of Shelby; four sisters, Sylvia Musgrave and husband Rick of McBee, SC, Tammy Harmon of Shelby, Rebecca Rhinehardt and husband Shawn of Shelby and Paula Tallent and husband Jeff of Shelby; a sister-in-law Debbie Allen of Shelby; and numerous loving nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home.
The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 13, 2022 at 3:00 PM in the Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Marcus McGill officiating.
The burial will follow the service in the Ross Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
