Obituary for Elaine Cook Causby
Elaine Ann Cook Causby, 71, of Fletcher Road, Shelby, passed away on Saturday, August 8, 2020 at Atrium Health - Cleveland in Shelby.
Born in Cleveland County, NC on March 12, 1949, she was the daughter of the late Rollin Delbert Cook and Annie Belle Causby Cook. She was retired from Boundless Miracles and was a member of Christian Fellowship Church. Mrs. Causby loved working with flowers.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband of fifty-one years, Larry Albert Causby; son, Gary Dean Causby and sister Patsy Cook Beheler.
She is survived by her daughter, Brenda Causby Allen and husband Travis of Lawndale; daughter-in-law, Carla Baynard of Lawndale; nine grandchildren, Brittany Causby, Chris Jackson and wife, Sara, Crystal Jackson and Sam Swan, Jordan Causby and Lexy Silva, Nick Allen, Andy Long and wife, Mandy, Christina Jackson, TJ Baynard and Alan Baynard; five great grandchildren, Lakelynn Allen, Lilliana Long, Payton Long, Hailey Montgomery and Grayson Swan and special friends Shane Brittain, Lily Hoppes and Brittney Hoppes.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, August 11, 2020, at 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm , at Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, mask and social distancing will be required.
A Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday, August 12, 2020 at 5:00 pm at at her home, 1442 Fletcher Road, Shelby, NC 28150 with the Rev. Lloyd Hunt officiating.
