Obituary for Ethan Clinard
Ethan Franklin Clinard, 20 of Phifer Road, Kings Mountain passed away on Sunday, February 6, 2022, Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte.
Born in Cleveland County, NC on October 18, 2001, he is a son of Orville "Chip" Franklin Clinard, III and Beverly Chrystal Maples Clinard. Ethan is a 2020 graduate of Shelby High School and was a member of the International Thespians Society, Laughing Lions Improv Troupe, Drama Club, National Honors Society and Beta Club. He was also a member of Elizabeth Baptist Church where he was the student director of Ignite.
In addition to his parents Chip and Chrystal Clinard, he is survived by a brother, Jacob "Jake" Clinard; maternal grandparents, Archie and Saralyn Maples of Lawndale and paternal grandparents, Frank and Mary Clinard of Cherryville; and aunts and uncles, Kyle Maples and wife, Heather, Tony Fleming, Noel Fleming and Jeff Clinard and wife, Thelma.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 9, 2022, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home.
A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, February 10, 2022, at 2:30 pm at Elizabeth Baptist Church with the Rev. Rit Varriale and Rev. Chris Devine officiating.
The burial will follow the service in the Elizabeth Baptist Church Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to Shelby High School Theatre Department, 230 E. Dixon Blvd., Shelby, NC 28150.
