Obituary for Fredrick "Bus" Towery
Fredrick "Bus" Henry Towery, 72, of Old NC 18, Connelly Springs, passed away on Saturday, April 9, 2022 at home.
Born in Burke County, on February 14, 1950, he was a son of the late John Henry Towery and Anne Maude Smith Towery. He was retired from the NC DOT. Bus loved to be outside working around his home or fixing a car.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by two brothers Billie Towery and Pinkney Towery.
He is survived by his companion of forty-four years, Becky Tallent; daughter, Joanie Towery of Connelly Springs; two grandchildren, Lane Willis and Paden Costner; brother Calvin Towery of Connelly Springs, two sisters, Reba Garland of Morganton and Jean Towery of Connelly Springs and numerous loving nieces and nephews.
