Obituary for Howard Mullinax
Howard Curtis Mullinax, 75 of Maysville Road, Shelby, passed away on Monday, January 18, 2021 at his residence.
Born in Cherokee County, SC on November 1, 1945, he was the son of the late Labon Mullinax and Lucille Atkins Mullinax. He was retired from Mauney Hosiery and was a member of Landmark Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Tony Mullinax; a sister, Mildred Humphries and a brother, Garland Mullinax.
Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Wendy Raines Mullinax; a daughter, Susan Cannon and husband, Richie of Morganton; two granddaughters, Jordan Cannon and Malley Cannon; one step-grandson, Richie Cannon, II; one great granddaughter, Akiyah Edwards and two sisters, Jeanette Oliver of Shelby and Carolyn Blackmon of Robertsdale, Alabama.
Services will be held at a later date.
