Obituary for Hugh Randall
Hugh Edward Randall, 95 of Mull Rd., Vale, passed away on Thursday, February 23, 2023 at Hickory Falls, Granite Falls.
Born in Cleveland County, on December 8, 1927, he was the son of the late Willie "Dock" Clee Randall and Sarah Towery Randall. He was retired from Old Yumma Furniture Company and was a member of Laurel Hill United Methodist Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Vertie Sue Felmet Randall; infant son; daughter, Trudy R. Thomas; five brothers, Norris Randall, Jay Randall, Bill Randall and Harold Randall and two sisters, Betty Little and Muriel Houston.
Survivors include daughter, Kathy Duckworth and J.R. Rudisill of Vale; son-in-law, Sam R. Thomas of Vale; four grandchildren, Leslie Fortenberry and husband, Jimmy, Josh Duckworth and wife, Amanda, Jessica Duckworth and Adam Thomas and wife, Whitney; 7 great grandchildren; and a brother, Ben Randall and wife, Pat of Vale
The family will receive friends on Sunday, February 26, 2023 from 2:00pm to 3:00pm at Laurel Hill United Methodist Church.
A Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, February 26, 2023 at 3:00pm at Laurel Hill United Methodist Church with Pastor Forrestene Sain officiating.
The burial will follow the service in the Laurel Hill United Methodist Church Cemetery.
