James Reid Adkins

Casar - Mr. James Reid Adkins, 84, passed away on Friday, January 29, 2021 at his residence.

Born in South Carolina on October 10, 1936 a son of the late Roy Adkins and Pauline Swell Adkins. He was retired as a Principal and attended Olive Grove Baptist Church. Mr. Adkins was a graduate of the University of Texas and was a Mason and Shriner. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict.

Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Bonnie Hull Adkins of the home; a son Ron Adkins and wife Maria of California; a daughter, Paula Geurin of Texas; three grandchildren Billy Geurin (Crystal); Gina Rahbari (Ari); Katarina Adkins; four great grandchildren, Brianna Geurin; Joseph Geurin; Camilla Rahbari and Robert Geurin; two brothers, John Adkins and Jack Adkins and a sister Dorothy McKnight all of South Carolina.

Services will be private.
