Obituary for James Larry Latham
James Larry Latham, 81of Shelby, passed away on Thursday, May 20, 2021 at Hospice at Wendover, Shelby.
Born in Jefferson County, Alabama on October 23, 1939, he was a son of the late James Vester Latham and Margaret Inez Gibbs Latham. He was the owner and operator of Latham Enterprises and a member of Bethel Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his two brothers, Gary and Thomas Latham.
He is survived by his wife Geraldine "Gerry" Willingham Latham; son, Keith Latham and wife Sharice; two grandchildren, Eli Bowling and Erica Runyon and husband Joey; one great grandchild, Sawyer Runyon; and a god grandson, Luke Rochester.
The family will receive friends on Monday from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM a Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home, Fallston.
A graveside service will be held on Monday May 24, 2021 at 11:30 AM at Rose Hill Memorial Park with the Rev. Dr. Tim Sims officiating.
