John Patrick Ames, 87, of E. Main Street, Lawndale, passed away on Saturday, December 12, 2020 at Atrium Health - Cleveland , Shelby.
Born in Toledo, Ohio on May 8, 1933, he was the son of the late John Purvis Ames and Dorothea Imogene Wisely Ames. He was retired from Hilton Hotels.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Tracy Ames Lind and a sister, JoAnn Jones.
Survivors include his wife, Linda Bamford Ames of 65 years which was celebrated on November 19, 2020; two sons, Jeff Ames and spouse, Todd Jordan and Mike Ames all of Lawndale; three grandchildren, Jeremy Jordan and wife, Jessica, Hailey Beaver and husband, Kyle and Hannah Ames and two great-grandchildren, Jasa Jordan and Jaxon Jordan.
Services will be held at a later date.
