Obituary for Joseph "Freak" Guffey, Jr.
Joseph (Freak) Clinton Guffey, Jr., 67, of Fritz Drive, Grover, passed away on Friday, May 28, 2021 at CaroMont Regional Medical Center, Gastonia .
Born in Cleveland County, NC on May 27, 1954, he was the son of the late Joseph Clinton (JC) Guffey, Sr. and Mary Edith Murray Guffey. He was retired from Freightliner and was a member of the Knights MC.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Travis Guffey.
Survivors include his wife, Margaret (Wayne) Pace Guffey; two sons, Benny Guffey of Cherryville and Josh Stroupe and wife, Sarah of Grover; a daughter, Angel King and husband, Ed of Shelby; three sisters; three grandchildren, TJ Guffey, Elizabeth Phipps and Katelynn King and one great-grandchild, Alexander Phipps.
A Private Service will be held at a later date.
