Lattie Lee Wehunt Bingham, 92, of Fallston, passed away on Sunday, May 9, 2021 at Atrium Health - Cleveland in Shelby.
Born in Lincoln County, on May 15, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Raeford Wehunt and Lonnie Houser Wehunt. She was a retired waitress having worked for Mellon's Fish Camp, Kelly's Fish Camp and The Hub. Lattie was a member of Friendly Chapel Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Willard Andrew Bingham; three brothers, Raeford, Clyde and Scott Wehunt; and two sisters Eveline Hoyle and Bobbie Maney.
She is survived by her daughters, Helen Hester and Dianne Wortman and husband James all of Fallston; three grandchildren, Wayne Andrew Hester and wife Christy, Karen Wortman Milling and Jason Wortman; five great-grandchildren, Alaina Milling, Austin Milling, Jonathon Price, Cassie Wortman, and Miles Wortman.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 12, 2021, from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm at Friendly Chapel Baptist Church.
The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 12, 2021 at 3:00 pm at Friendly Chapel Baptist Church with the Rev. Norris Willis and Rev. Travis Mull officiating.
The burial will follow the service in the church cemetery.
