Marshall Keith "Goober" McIntyre, 67, of Shelby, passed away on Wednesday, May 19, 2021 at home.
Born in Cleveland County on December 16, 1953 , he was a son of the late Carl J. McIntyre and Edna Leigh McIntyre. He was retired from Freightliner in Mt. Holly.
Survivors include his wife of forty eight years, Vicki Gail Champion McIntyre; one son, Wesley Keith McIntyre and Joan Ruppe of Shelby; daughter, Angela M. Gauby and husband Christian of Shelby; three brothers, Steve McIntyre and wife Donna of Charlotte, Mike McIntyre and wife Rhonda of Atlanta, GA and Craig McIntyre and wife Wanda of Cherryville; one sister, Carlene Scronce of Cherryville and four grandchildren, Makayla and Laney McIntyre and Makinna and Brayden Gauby.
A private service will be held at a later date.
