Obituary for Martha Helen Carroll (Grigg)
Martha Helen Grigg Carroll, 97, of Lawndale, passed away on Monday, March 27, 2023 at Hospice at Wendover, Shelby.
Born in Cleveland County, on July 27, 1925, she was a daughter of the late Burgan Jones Grigg and Minnie Norman Grigg. She was a homemaker and member of Palm Tree Church.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband J.L. Carroll; and two sisters, Pauline Lattimore and Myrtle M. Sparks.
She is survived by her brother, Burgan J. Grigg, Jr. and wife Pat Gasburg, VA and three loving nieces and one nephew and special friend, Joyce Shuford of Lawndale.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, March 31, 2023 at 11:00AM at Rose Hill Memorial Park with Rev. Jeff Clevenger officiating.
