Obituary for Evelyn Hudson Willis
Mary Evelyn Hudson Willis, 70 of Camp Knob Road, Casar, passed away on Tuesday, November 22, 2022 at Atrium Health - Cleveland, Shelby.
Born in Cleveland County, on December 15, 1951, she was the daughter of the late Julius "Judy" Hoover Hudson and Dessie Roxanna Hoyle Hudson. Evelyn was retired from Bost Bakery and was a member of Corinth Baptist Church. After retirement, she spent her time taking care of countless children who knew her as Nana.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Randy Thomas Willis.
Survivors include her daughter, Christy Huggins and husband, John of Casar; two granddaughters, Sadie Price and husband, Dale and Abbie Huggins all of Casar; two brothers, Ricky Hudson and wife, Margaret of Casar and Mitchell Hudson and wife, Carolyn of Casar; sister, Patricia H. Hoyle of Casar and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Friday, November 25, 2022 from 6:00 pm to 8:30 pm at Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home.
A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, November 26, 2022 at 11:00 am at Corinth Baptist Church with the Rev. Danny McNeilly officiating.
The burial will follow the service in the Corinth Baptist Church Cemetery.
