Mitchell Brian Smith, 31 of Dudley Shoals Road, Granite Falls, passed away on Wednesday, November 16, 2022.
Born in Mecklenburg County, NC on July 22, 1991, he was the son of Joe Arnold Smith and Donna McCuen Smith. Mitchell was employed by JA Smith Inc.
In addition to his parents, survivors include his wife of 9 years, Felicia Fowler Smith; one son, Jaxson Messinger and two daughters, Evelynn and Joanna Smith all of Granite Falls; two sisters, Laura Price and husband, Chad of Lincolnton and Jodie Smith and husband, Burk Krohe of St. Louis, Missouri and a nephew, Mason Pilkington.
He was a passionate and loving family man and a devoted husband, father, son and brother. In his free time, he was a avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing and being on the water. He was also a firearm enthusiast and collector.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, November 20, 2022 from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm at Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Sunday, November 20, 2022 at 2:00 pm at Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Christopher Johnson officiating.
