Obituary for Nancy Geneva McNeilly (Johnson)
Nancy Geneva Johnson McNeilly, 97, of Casar, passed away on Wednesday, February 1, 2023 at her home.
Born in Cleveland County, on April 4, 1925 , she was a daughter of the late Jake Johnson and Lula Tallent Johnson. She was a homemaker and member of Olive Grove Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Roscoe McNeilly; a brother, Forrest Johnson and two sisters, Virgie Johnson and Mozelle Propst.
She is survived by her two sons, Richard McNeilly and wife Daphene of Casar and Ronnie McNeilly of Casar; a daughter, Evelyn Peeler and husband Roger of Connelly Springs; two grandchildren, Benjamin Peeler and Lisa Kimball and husband Corey; and two great grandchildren, Addy Kimball and Evan Kimball.
The family will receive friends on Friday, February 3, 2023 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, February 4, 2023 at 1:00 pm at Olive Grove Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Terrill Crump officiating.
