Obituary for Pam B. Howell

Pamela Ruth Beam Howell, 44, of Cedar Lake Farm Road, Cherryville, passed away on Monday, January 18, 2021 at her residence.

Born in Cleveland County, NC on December 8, 1976, she was a daughter of Edwin Columbus Beam and Rebecca "Becky" Williams Beam. Pam was employed by Burns High School as a social worker and was formerly employed with Hospice Cleveland County as lead social worker. She was a member of Bethlehem United Methodist Church, where she was organist, youth leader, member of the United Methodist Women and wings group. Pam was a member of the Cedar Lake Community Center.

She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Columbus Beam, and Robert and Geneva Williams and grandparents-in-law Cone and Mary Howell and Ed and Thelma Wood.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband of 19 years, Norris Wayne Howell; son, Samuel Norris Howell; a daughter, Abby Beam Howell of Cherryville; a sister and husband, Sally and David Agner of Salisbury, her grandmother, Ruth Beam of Shelby; two aunts, Annette Beam of Lenior and Venita Howell of Cherryville; father and mother-in-law, Roger and Peggy Howell of Cherryville; special companion Karma; and several loving nieces and nephews.

Pam will lie in repose on Wednesday, January 20, 2021, from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home.

A Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday, January 20, 2021 at 3:00 PM at Bethlehem United Methodist Church Cemetery with the Revs. Alice Day and Randi Godfrey officiating.

Due to COVID-19 Restrictions, masks and social distancing will be required.
