Patricia Ann Moody Upton, 70, of Jake Seagle Road, Vale, passed away on Friday, January 15, 2021 at Atrium Health - Lincoln.
Born in Burke County, NC on February 28, 1950, she was the daughter of the late Ed Moody and Frances Kaylor Moody.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Sonny Moody and three sisters, Betty Jo Moody, Judy Moody and Linda Lowman.
Survivors include her husband, Roy Lee Upton; a son, Joseph Fleming and wife, Shelia of Hickory; a daughter, Frances Fleming of Vale; two grandchildren, Tyler Fleming and Taylor Fleming; a brother, Edney Moody of Granite Falls and a sister, Mary Castillo of Vale.
