Obituary for Paul Fulton
Paul Gilbreath Fulton, 81 of 110 Jason Dr, Kings Mountain, passed away on Sunday, April 2, 2023 at White Oak Manor, Kings Mountain.
Born in Cleveland County, on June 4, 1941, he was the son of the late Palmer DeKalb Fulton and Emma Frances Witherspoon Fulton. Mr. Fulton was retired from Time Warner Cable and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Kings Mountain. He also served in the Navy and Army Reserve.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wives, Betty M. Fulton and Muriel Southard and nine brothers and sisters, Preston Fulton, Robert Fulton, Wlliam Fulton, James Fulton, Louise Clemmer, Eleanor Fulton, Pansy Fulton, and Dorothy Costner.
Survivors include his daughter, Angela Shuda and husband, Tommy of Gaffney, SC; two sons, Andrew "Drew" Stephen Fulton and wife, Sarah of Kings Mountain and Samuel Jason Fulton of Cherryville; four grandchildren, Bradley Trey Shuda and wife Michelle, Derrick Thomas Shuda, Andrew "AJ" Fulton, Jr., Kathryn Fulton and a great-grandchild Mason Thomas Shuda; stepson, Mark Southard and wife Barbara of Shelby, stepdaughter, Karen Southard Stroud of Lawndale; three step-grandchildren, Sara Melton and husband Dusty, Brittany Jones and husband Luke and Jay Seagle and wife Tori and four step-great-grandchildren, Sydney, Penelope, Lily, and Waylon.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at First Baptist Church - Kings Mountain.
A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 AM at First Baptist Church - Kings Mountain with Dr. Chip Sloan officiating.
The burial will follow the service in the Mountain Rest Cemetery.
