Obituary for Reha Darlene Hallman

Reha Darlene Hallman, 65, of Newton, passed away on Friday, October 21, 2022, at Catawba Valley Medical Center, Hickory.
Born in Cleveland County on January 17, 1957, she was the daughter of the late Ralph Dwight Hallman and Bertha Mae Crowder Hallman.
She is survived by her sister Gwen Pruette and husband, Carrell, of Mooresville; two nieces, Dawn Towery (Chad) and Cherise Gregory (Dale); two great nieces, Kara and Jena Towery; one great nephew, Noah Gregory; an uncle, Tom Crowder (Dot) and family; a special cousin, Betty Price and family; special friend, Ed; frequent visitor, Glenda Wise; and numerous cousins, special friends, and caregivers from RHA.
There will be a Celebration of Life on Sunday, October 30, 2022, at Mt. Vernon Baptist Church in Vale, NC. Viewing will be from 1:30-2:00 pm, followed by the service at 2:00 pm and graveside with the Rev. Carrell Pruette, family members, and friends officiating.
Reha will be remembered for her infectious smile, laughter, and love for treat bags, especially if they included Moon Pies, Pepsi, and anything lemon. She loved music, singing, dancing, coloring, puzzles, and math problems. Reha never met a stranger, you were her friend the moment you met. She had a special love for her group home friends and bond with all her caregivers.
