Ricky Hugh Jenks, 71, of Kay Road, Lawndale, passed away on Saturday, August 22, 2020 at Atrium Health - Lincoln.
Born in Lincoln County, NC on July 22, 1949, he was the son of the late Hugh Winford Jenks and Margaret Houser Jenks. Rick was co-owner of R & C Construction.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Dawn Jenks.
Survivors include a son, Jeremy Jenks of Cherryville; a daughter, Jennifer Haas of Cherryville; two brothers, Chuck Jenks of Morganton and Kyle Jenks of Newton; 7 grandchildren, Gavin Haas, Garrett Haas, Raven Blanton, Aaron Jenks, Madison Jenks, Ethan Jenks and Sarah Schniers.
A memorial service will be 3:00 PM, Saturday, September 5, 2020 at Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home Chapel with Mr. Chuck Jenks officiating.
