Obituary for Bobby Carpenter
Robert "Bobby" Charles Carpenter, 73 of Dogwood Trail, Shelby, passed away on Saturday, May 6, 2023 at Atrium Health - Cleveland.
Born in Cleveland County, on June 19, 1949, he was the son of the late Charles Clifton Carpenter and Jetty Leah Ledford Carpenter. Bobby was owner and operator of Shelby Steel Products, Inc.
Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Patricia "Patti" Maida Carpenter; two sons, David Carpenter and wife, Jessica and Mike Carpenter all of Shelby; two daughters, Ashley Almanza and husband, Ray of Panama and Rachel Carpenter and boyfriend, Joe Barnes of Shelby; three grandchildren, Carly Carpenter, Logan Almanza and Owen Almanza and a brother, Don Carpenter and wife, Julie of Tennessee.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, May 11, 2023 from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm at Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home.
A Graveside Service will be held on Thursday, May 11, 2023 at 2:30pm at Rose Hill Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or to the NC Wildlife Resources, 1701 Mail Service Center, Raleigh, NC 27699-1700.
