Ronald "Ronnie" Lee Bumgardner, 67, of Lawndale, passed away on Monday, February 1, 2021 at his home.
Born in Cleveland County, on August 16, 1953, he was a son of the late Oscar Harland Bumgardner and Fannie Lee Queen Bumgardner. He was retired from Crest High School as a custodian, and a member of Lawndale Missionary Methodist Church.
I addition to his parents he is preceded in death by two half-brothers Lee Roy Bumgardner and Eugene Bumgardner and and two half-sisters Kathleen Hipps and Mary Sue Terry.
He is survived by two sons Chris Bumgardner of Polkville and Andy Bumgardner and wife Wanda of Lawndale; a brother, Jerry Bumgardner and wife Judy; three sisters, Brenda Bridges of Polkville, Judy Gettys and husband Charles of Polkville and Gail Bumgardner of Monroe; and two grandchildren, CJ Bumgardner and fiancée Pam Bradshaw and Remi Bumgardner.
Ronnie will lie in repose from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Thursday at Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home, Fallston. The family will not be in attendance at this time.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, February 4, 2021, at 2:00 PM at Polkville Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Will Davis officiating.
