Rondal Huffman
Rondal Ted Huffman, 67, of White Street, Casar, passed away on Thursday, January 28, 2021 at his residence.
Born in Burke County, NC on February 9, 1953, he was the son of the late Teddy "Ted" Roosevelt Huffman and Josephine McNeilly Huffman. Rondal retired with 35 years of service from the NC DOT. After retirement in 2005 Rondal enjoyed his lifetime, love of the outdoors, hunting, fishing and cattle farming. He was a former volunteer at Casar Volunteer Fire Department. Rondal also loved spending time with his beloved grandchildren Boone & Stevie.
Survivors include his wife of 39 years, Faye McNeely Huffman; a son, Derek Huffman of Casar; a daughter, Lynn Elmore and husband, Patrick of Lawndale; two grandchildren, Boone and Stevie Elmore; a brother, Reggie Huffman and wife, Mary of Casar and a niece, Amber Huffman of Casar.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Monday, February 1, 2021 at 1:00 pm at Corinth Baptist Church, Casar with the Rev. Norris Willis officiating.
The family will receive friends following the service.
Due to COVID-19, masks and social distancing will be required.
Burial will be private.
