Obituary for Sarah K. Waters
Sarah Lee Kirkland Waters, 53, of Vale, passed away on Wednesday, April 14, 2021 at Hospice at Wendover, Shelby.
Born in Gaston County, on October 22, 1967, she was a daughter of the late Alex Hannibal Kirkland and Glenna Christina Welch Kirkland. She worked in furniture manufacturing.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by two sisters, Joyce Smith and Linda Kirkland.
She is survived by two sons, Tim Green and Buddy Green both of Vale; two brothers, Raymond Kirkland and Junior Kirkland both of Bryson City; two sisters, Melinda Lapuglia of Sylva and Lois Waters of Stanley; one granddaughter, Glenna Green and father of her children, Dennis Green of Vale.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
