Obituary for Shirley A. Anthony
Shirley Ann Auton Anthony, 87, of Vale, passed away on Monday, January 23, 2023 at Cleveland Pines Nursing Center, Shelby.
Born in Lincoln County on January 10, 1936, she was a daughter of the late Raymond Tillman Auton and Grace Maude Houser Auton. She was retired from Harris Teeter and was a member of Corinth Baptist Church in Vale.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Anthony and grandson, Mitchell Fisher.
Survivors include daughter, Patricia Fisher and husband Don of Cherryville.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, January 26, 2023 at 2:00 pm at Corinth Baptist Church in Vale with the Rev. William Kanupp officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Corinth Baptist Church, 7929 West 10 Hwy, Vale, NC 28168.
