Shirley Ann Whisnant, 91, passed away peacefully on November 20, 2022. Shirley was born on October 10, 1931. She was predeceased by her parents, John and Ruby Whisnant and her sister Lillian of Lawndale, NC.
Shirley has lived at J Iverson Riddle Developmental Center, Morganton, NC, for the past 58 years. I cannot begin to express how much I appreciate the love and care Shirley was given while in their care.
The viewing will be on Tuesday, November 22, 2022 from 1:00 to 2:00 pm at Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home, with a graveside service following at 2:30 pm in the Rose Hill Memorial Park.
