Obituary for Steve Byers
Steve Wayne Byers, 67, of Railroad Avenue, Shelby, passed away on Friday, April 30, 2021 at his residence.
Born in Cleveland County, NC on February 28, 1954, he was the son of the late Hoyle Anderson Byers and Grace Viola Rochester Byers.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Steven Dwayne Byers; one daughter, Angela Marie Rackley; two sisters, Lucille Tesseneer and Cathy Thomas and a brother, James Anderson Byers.
Survivors include nine grandchildren, Katie Byers, Tesla Rackley, Cage Rackley, Joey Dyer, Caleb Byers, Leigha Plank, Ethan Martin, Adrian Martin and Kaidence Byers and two great grandchildren, Achilles Logan and Malachi Ramsey.
The visitation will be held on Saturday, May 15, 2021 from 12:00 Noon till 4:00PM at Bessemer City American Legion, 152 Long Creek Rd., Bessemer City, NC.
Following the visitation, a motorcycle ride will be held.
