Obituary for Susan Leming Bryson
Susan Leming Bryson, 71, of Gastonia passed away on Sunday, July 3, 2022 at the Robin Johnson House, Dallas.
Born in Gaston County, on February 9, 1951, she was a daughter of the late James Leming and Geneva Stanridge Leming. She was retired from the Community Christian Academy and was a member of Bessemer City Community Church.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by two brothers, Jimmy Leming and Danny Leming and two sisters, Annie Bell Leming and Joyce Clark.
She is survived by her husband of twenty-eight years, Thomas Phillip Bryson; son, Rodney Barnes and wife Regina; two daughters, Sherry Brewer and husband Todd and Melissa Jones and husband Chad; two stepchildren, Denise Sorrow and husband David and Jimmy Bryson; four sisters, Debbie Hembree, Jean Dotson, Linda Moss and Faye Horton; and six grandchildren and six step-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, July 9, 2022 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Bessemer City Community Church.
A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, July 9, 2022 at 11:00 am at Bessemer City Community Church with the Rev. David Ross and Rev. Mark Etchison officiating.
