Sylvia Darlene Hartman Effler, 59, of Macedonia Church Road, Vale, passed away on Thursday, July 21, 2022 at Atrium Health - Cleveland, Shelby.
Born in Catawba County, NC on July 28, 1962, she was the daughter of the late Jasper Swain Hartman, Jr. and Daisy Mirth Lail Hartman. Sylvia was employed by Carolina Swatching, Inc.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by Cynthia Blevins.
Survivors include a brother, Jesse Hartman and wife, Diane of Vale; two sisters, Bernice Hartman of Vale and Elizabeth Spencer and husband, Paul of Vale and several nieces, nephews and great nieces and great nephews.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
