Obituary for Sylvia Meade
Sylvia Champion Meade, 84 of Casar-Lawndale Road, Casar, passed away on Thursday, April 20, 2023 at Atrium Health - Lincoln.
Born in Cleveland County on October 2, 1938, she was the daughter of the late Alton Champion and Nadine Carpenter Champion. Sylvia was retired from General Electric Transformers and Sears. She was a member of St. Paul Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Harold Meade; a brother, Randy Champion and a sister, Judy Champion.
Mrs. Meade is survived by her son, Kenny Meade of Thomasville; several brothers-in-laws and sisters-in-laws; nieces, nephews and friends.
A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, April 24, 2023 at 1:00 pm at St. Paul Baptist Church with the Rev. Keith Fulbright officiating.
The burial will follow the service in the St. Paul Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends immediately following the service in the St. Paul Baptist Church Fellowship Hall.
