Obituary for Tommie White Scism
Tommie Lee White Scism, 80, of Shelby , passed away on Saturday, February 12, 2022.
Born in Cleveland County, on November 21, 1941, she was a daughter of the late Roy T. White and Manta Horton White. She was retired in Quality Control from L&K and was a member of Polkville United Methodist Church.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Forrest Everette Scism.
She is survived by her sons, Mark Anthony and wife Angela of Shelby and Jeff Scism and wife Bryte of Shelby; daughter, Tami Scism of Ellenboro; sister, Saundra Humphries and husband Dean of Shelby; grandchildren, Samantha Anthony, Aimee White and husband Greg, Jessica White and husband Guy, Meagan Scism and Linkin Scism; great granddaughters, Abbi White, Layla and Finley Fagan; nieces, Janet Sanders and husband Danny, Jane Leese and husband Ken, and Kelly Grubb and husband Greg.
A graveside service will be held on Sunday, February 20, 2022 at 2:00 pm at Polkville United Methodist Church with the Rev. Bill Lovelace officiating.
