Walter Henderson Gallentine, Jr., 72 , of Hendrick Lake Road, Shelby , passed away on Thursday, March 4, 2021 at home.
Born in Arkansas on May 5, 1948 , he was a son of the late Walter Henderson Gallentine Sr. and Margaret Sanders Gallentine. He was a truck driver and served in the US Marines during the Vietnam Conflict. He was of the baptist faith.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four siblings.
Survivors include his wife of 33 years, Cecelia Richardson Gallentine; five children, Jeremiah, Byron, Cynthia, Crystal and Holly; stepson, Scott Deal; step daughter, Tina Deese; one brother, Phillip Medley and numerous grandchildren.
Services will be held at a later date.
